The Remuda is a working ranch in the high desert near Mountain Home, Idaho. We host small women's retreats built around horses, open country, and a day with nothing to keep up with.
The ranch sits outside Mountain Home in southwest Idaho, an easy drive from Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Twin Falls. Parking is on site and the barn is the first thing you'll see.

Introductions and groundwork with the herd, then a guided ride across ranch country for anyone who wants it. Guests who'd rather stay on the ground spend the day with the horses instead — both are the retreat.
Time is left deliberately open. There is no packed schedule, no breakout sessions, and nothing to perform.

That's the majority of our guests. Groundwork comes first, riding is optional, and helmets and equipment are provided.
